Make a cat bed from old clothes

I love reuse things. This is the main reason why I decided not to buy a bed for my cats, but make it by myself from old clothes.

The bed is made from a long-sleeved T-shirt which was filled with unesessary pieces of tissue. Before making the bed I washed all of those things.

This are pictures illustrated the process step by step.

1. The T-shirt

2. The heap of unnecessary tissues

3. Turn inside out

4. Sew up the neck

I sewed with white thread so the line is not easy to see.

5.  Again turn out

6. Sew sleeves

7. Sew the top part of the T-shirt. Sew just a top from one sleeve to another.

A white line about 10 sm lower the top

8. Fill the first part of the bed

9. Insert a peice of material in the sleeping part and flatten it.

10. Stitch the center of our mat to fix it

11. Then letcs make a bottom. We need to do a kind of pocket. 

12. Fill the pocket.

13. Sew the sleeves to the bottom by hand.
